Steam iron core functions

The Brentwood MPI-52 is a 1000W steam iron with a non-stick soleplate and adjustable heat control. It offers dry, steam and spray settings plus a vertical steam function for curtains and linens. A see-through water compartment and power indicator light add convenience. The unit weighs 3 lbs and measures 10.5 x 5.3 x 4.4 inches.

Best for everyday pressing, not heavy volume

This iron suits households that need a lightweight tool for daily shirts, trousers and occasional vertical touch-ups on drapes. Buyers who want a high-capacity reservoir for marathon sessions or a retractable cord for compact storage should look at other models.

1000W heating element

The 1000W rating determines how quickly the soleplate reaches temperature and how much continuous steam it can generate. If your laundry routine demands faster heat-up or higher steam output, a higher-wattage iron will be necessary.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the power indicator light shows the iron is heating properly?

The power indicator light illuminates when the iron is plugged in and heating; wait until it stays on steadily, then test steam on a scrap fabric to verify the 1000W element is at temperature.

What comes in the box with the MPI-52 and do I need to buy a water jug separately?

The iron ships complete with its see-through water compartment, non-stick soleplate and adjustable heat dial; no extra accessories are required — just tap water for the reservoir.

Which version of this iron should I choose for regular home use?

The MPI-52 is offered as a single 1000W model with dry, steam and spray settings, adjustable heat control and a 10.5 x 5.3 x 4.4 inch footprint — pick this one for everyday wrinkle removal.
