1200 W steam iron for everyday garments

The Brentwood Appliances MPI-59W delivers 1200 W of power through a non-stick soleplate. It offers dry, steam and spray modes plus a vertical-steam option for hanging fabrics. Temperature control lets you match heat to the material. A retractable cord keeps storage tidy.

Suits households that want simple steam

Buyers who need higher continuous steam output or a larger water tank should look at a steam-generator system. The 120 V design limits use to regions with that supply voltage. The 3 lb weight may feel light for pressing heavy linen or denim.

Retractable cord and cETL certification change

The built-in cord reel removes the hassle of winding the lead by hand after each session. cETL approval confirms the iron meets North American electrical safety standards. The one-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Questions about this item

What power supply does the 1200 W MPI-59W require?

It runs on 120 V AC household mains, the standard voltage in North American homes.

Will the 3 lb iron feel balanced on my existing ironing board?

At roughly 3 lb with a 13.4" length and 6.2" width, it sits steadily on most standard boards without tipping.

How do I know the non-stick soleplate is heating evenly?

The temperature control dial clicks into each setting and the pilot light stays on while the element is active; steam vents release steadily once the selected temperature is reached.
