Family-sized hot air popcorn popper

The Brentwood Appliances PC-490R produces up to 24 cups of popcorn using only heated air. It is designed for households or gatherings that want a large batch of oil-free snack food prepared quickly.

Measuring scoop and recipe booklet included

The bundled scoop portions kernels for consistent results without guesswork. The gourmet recipe booklet adds seasoning ideas so the plain popped corn can be flavoured without adding oil during the popping cycle.

Hot-air popping limits oil-free volume

Hot-air technology pops 8 cups in roughly 3 minutes but cannot replicate the texture or flavour depth that oil-based methods create. The fixed 24-cup bowl capacity also means smaller batches may not circulate as evenly.

Questions about this item

How often will the removable bowl and measuring scoop need to be replaced?

The bowl and scoop are made of durable plastic and have no scheduled replacement interval; they only need replacing if they crack or warp from heat.

What limits how many batches I can pop back-to-back?

The unit pops 8 cups in 3 minutes and uses hot air only, so the heating element and thermostat determine the cooldown time between batches.

How much noise and heat does the popper produce during a full popping cycle?

The hot-air motor creates a steady airflow sound similar to a hair dryer, and the exterior warms up while the 8 cups pop in 3 minutes.
