7 Quart Slow Cooker for Family Meals

The Brentwood SC-157R is a 7 quart slow cooker designed for households that prepare large batches of soups, stews or roasts. Its 270 watt heating element delivers consistent heat across high, low and warm settings. The red metal body and tempered glass lid suit countertop display while the cool touch handles allow safe transport from kitchen to table.

Countertop Integration and Cleaning

The unit measures 17.50 inches wide, 12.50 inches deep and 10.00 inches high, requiring a stable surface near a standard outlet. The removable ceramic pot lifts out for serving or washing, and the glass lid lets you monitor progress without lifting. Both pieces are easy to clean by hand, freeing the cook from scrubbing a fixed insert.

Sustained Cooking Behaviour

During long braises the 270 watt element maintains the selected temperature without cycling aggressively, so food stays at a gentle simmer on low or a steady bubble on high. The warm setting holds finished dishes at serving temperature for hours without overcooking. The LED power indicator confirms the unit is active throughout the cycle.
