Electric knife and tool sharpener

The Brentwood TS-1002 is a 45 W electric sharpener designed for home cooks and DIY users who want to maintain kitchen knives, scissors and screwdriver bits without professional equipment. Its compact form suits occasional sharpening tasks on a countertop or workbench.

Two-stage sharpening with built-in guides

Built-in angle guides handle sport knives, kitchen knives, scissors and screwdrivers in a single device. The two-stage process moves from coarse grinding to fine honing, while anti-slip feet keep the unit stable and a retractable cord reduces clutter when stored.

Simple countertop setup

Place the sharpener on a flat surface, plug it in and pull each blade through the marked slots — no tools or calibration required. Users should avoid serrated blades and heavy-duty tools, as the 45 W motor is not intended for continuous industrial use.

Questions about this item

How often do the sharpening stages need to be replaced?

The unit uses fixed 2-stage sharpening guides for knives, scissors and screwdrivers; no replaceable cartridges are mentioned, so the abrasives are built to last the life of the sharpener.

What limits continuous sharpening sessions?

The 45 W motor drives both stages; prolonged heavy use will heat the motor first, so allow cooling breaks between batches.

How loud and hot does it get during extended use?

At 45 W the motor runs quietly; the housing stays warm but not hot, and the anti-slip feet keep it stable on the bench.
