1000W Steam Iron for Everyday Garment Care

The Brentwood MPI-54 is a full-size steam iron rated at 1000 watts and finished in red. It offers adjustable heat control, a non-stick soleplate and dry, steam and spray functions. A see-through water compartment lets you monitor the fill level while a power light indicates when the unit is ready.

Suits Light Ironing Loads — Not Heavy Steam Demand

This iron suits households that press shirts, blouses and lightweight fabrics a few times a week. Buyers who regularly tackle thick denim, linen stacks or large batches of laundry will find the steam output insufficient for those tasks.

1000 Watt Power Rating Determines Steam Performance

The single figure that defines whether this model meets your needs is the 1000 watt power rating. It governs heat-up speed and maximum steam volume, so match it against the fabric weights and session lengths you typically handle.

Questions about this item

Can I run the 1000 watt iron on the same circuit as my older 1000 watt kettle without tripping the breaker?

The iron draws 1000 watts. Combined load depends on your circuit rating and what else is running; check the breaker amperage before using both together.

How do I know the MPI-54 is heating and steaming correctly after I fill the tank and switch it on?

The power light indicator glows when the iron is heating. Once the light cycles off, press the steam or spray button; steam should flow from the soleplate and mist from the spray nozzle.

What comes in the box with the red MPI-54 and what must I supply myself?

The package includes the full-size iron with non-stick soleplate, adjustable heat control, dry/steam/spray settings, see-through water compartment and cETLus certification. You supply only tap water for the tank.
