Compact footprint espresso machine

The Breville Bambino Plus is a coffee-maker and espresso combo designed for home users who want cafe-quality results without a large appliance. It fits a 64 fl oz water tank into a 7.6"D x 12.5"W x 12.2"H brushed stainless steel body, making it suited to kitchens with limited counter space.

Integrated 54 mm portafilter

The machine ships with a 54 mm portafilter that holds 19 grams of ground coffee for consistent dose control. An automatic steam wand textures milk to a chosen temperature, producing microfoam suitable for latte art without manual frothing skill.

ThermoJet heating and PID extraction

The ThermoJet system reaches optimum extraction temperature in three seconds, while digital PID control keeps water temperature precise during the shot. The 64 fl oz reservoir supports several drinks before refilling, though high-volume entertaining will require frequent top-ups. It lacks a built-in grinder, so buyers who want bean-to-cup convenience need a separate mill.

Questions about this item

How often does the 54 mm portafilter or its basket need replacing?

The 54 mm portafilter and its 19 g basket are stainless steel and do not have a scheduled replacement interval; clean them after each use and replace only if they become damaged or worn.

What limits back-to-back shots on the Bambino Plus?

The 64 fl oz water tank is the first limit during sustained use; it holds enough water for several drinks but must be refilled once empty.

How much noise and heat does the ThermoJet system produce during all-day operation?

The ThermoJet heating system reaches extraction temperature in 3 seconds, so it runs quietly and generates minimal excess heat between shots.
