Scale and subject

This CollectA Prehistoric Life Deluxe figure depicts Dimetrodon at 1:20 scale. The hand-painted replica is produced by Breyer Animal Creations in a green colour scheme. It is designed for display, diorama building or educational play. The model is safety tested and rated for ages three and up.

From generic toys to expert replicas

Many dinosaur sets use simplified shapes and single-colour moulds. This figure replaces those with a sculpt developed alongside palaeontological experts and finished with detailed hand painting. The upgrade is worth it when accuracy matters for school projects, museum-style displays or serious collecting.

Suited for collectors, educators and older children

The 1:20 scale and fragile painted surfaces suit hobbyists who want a scientifically grounded piece. Younger children who prefer rugged, chunky toys for rough play should look at something else. Buyers needing articulated joints or electronic features will not find them here.
