RED V-RAPTOR Riser Compatibility
This 15mm riser block is built for the RED V-RAPTOR camera and Bright Tangerine LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate Core. It sets the camera to the correct height for 15mm LWS rod systems. Machined aluminium construction keeps weight to 7.6 oz. Six mounting screws plus 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads secure the body.
Suited For LWS Rod Workflows
Operators using a LeftField 15mm baseplate with the V-RAPTOR gain a stable, height-correct platform. The slotted design allows fine fore-aft balance adjustment. A washer plate prevents screw drop-out during rig changes. Builders whose rigs rely on a different rod diameter or camera mounting pattern cannot use this riser.
15mm LWS Height Standard
The single deciding specification is the 15mm Lightweight Support rod height. This riser aligns the V-RAPTOR sensor plane to that standard when mounted on the LeftField baseplate. If your support system uses a different rod centre height, this part will not achieve the required alignment.
