Universal DJI RS 4 and RS 3 Dovetail Plate

This Bright Tangerine accessory replaces the standard two-stage plate on DJI RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro and RS 3 gimbals with a flat, low-profile dovetail. It accepts both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws for flexible camera attachment. The precision-machined aluminium body weighs 196g.

Build integration and clearance

The dovetail slides directly into the gimbal's native mount without adapters, freeing the height that a two-stage plate would add. 144mm of fore-aft travel lets you balance mirrorless bodies such as Sony A7, Canon R5 or Nikon Z series as well as larger cinema cameras including RED KOMODO-X, Sony FX6 or Canon C400. The wide platform distributes weight evenly across the gimbal's roll axis.

Capacity and headroom

The 144mm sliding range handles front-heavy lens combinations and battery grips while keeping the centre of gravity over the gimbal's pivot point. Payload is limited by the gimbal's own rating rather than the plate, so rigs approaching the RS 4 Pro's maximum will still balance securely. Users needing NATO rails, integrated cold shoes or a built-in riser block must add those separately.
