Quad-port 10/100/1000BASE-T OCP 3.0 card with PCIe x4 interface and four RJ45 connectors
The Broadcom BCM95719N1905C is a quad-port 10/100/1000BASE-T network card built to the OCP 3.0 small-form-factor specification. It targets enterprise servers and dense rack deployments that need four independent Gigabit Ethernet links from a single PCI-Express x4 slot. Each port operates as a separate PCI Express function for direct I/O assignment in virtualised environments.
The controller delivers full line-rate throughput across all four RJ45 ports simultaneously over a PCIe 2.1 x4 link at 5 GT/s or 2.5 GT/s. It provides 17 receive queues, 16 transmit queues and 17 MSI-X vectors to support VMware NetQueue and Microsoft VMQ, enabling workload isolation in multi-tenant hosts. Hardware assists for IEEE 1588 and 802.1AS precision time protocol are included, but the card does not offer 2.5G, 10G or fibre uplinks.
The small-form-factor design fits OCP 3.0 cages in modern data-centre chassis, freeing full-height PCIe slots for other accelerators. A pull-tab faceplate eases installation in tool-less rail systems. The adapter requires an OCP 3.0-compliant carrier or server backplane with PCIe x4 electrical connectivity and NC-SI sideband management. It is not suited for desktop towers or workstations lacking OCP bays.

The card uses PCI Express v2.1 at 5 GT/s or 2.5 GT/s, so a PCIe 2.0 x4 slot provides the same 2.5 GT/s link rate and full 1GbE line-rate on all four ports.
Check the integrated link and activity LEDs on each RJ45 connector; a steady link light and blinking activity light indicate a negotiated 1000BASE-T connection on that port.
The card includes the OCP 3.0 small-form-factor pull-tab faceplate; a full-height PCIe bracket is not included and must be purchased separately if your chassis requires it.
