Replacement Cover with LED and Bluetooth

The Broan-NuTone FG800RGBS is a genuine replacement grille that adds a ChromaComfort LED light and a Sensonic Bluetooth speaker to select bathroom fan housings. It fits units with 7-1/2" x 7-1/4", 8" x 7-1/4" or 8-1/4" x 8" metal housings. The bath fan itself is not included. Two sets of springs are supplied for compatibility across multiple Broan or NuTone models.

30-Watt Speaker and App-Controlled Light

The integrated 2.0 configuration speaker delivers 30 watts RMS from a dynamic driver with a 60 hertz frequency response. Audio streams wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet using music apps such as Spotify or Apple Music. The colour-changing LED lets you adjust brightness and create lighting scenes through the ChromaComfort app, which does not control the fan motor.

Tool-Free Install and Mains Power

A quick-connect plug enables a wire-free installation in roughly five minutes with no ceiling cutting or patching required. The cover measures 10.25 in x 9.75 in x 2.38 in and weighs 0.939 kilograms. It runs on a 120-volt AC supply drawing 30 watts total. The package contains the cover, two spring sets and install instructions.

Questions about this item

Will the 10.25 in x 9.75 in cover fit the 8-1/4" x 8" housing on my existing Broan fan?

Yes, the FG800RGBS includes two sets of springs designed for 7-1/2" x 7-1/4", 8" x 7-1/4", and 8-1/4" x 8" housings, so it mounts on that size without cutting the ceiling.

How can I confirm the ChromaComfort LED light and 30 watt Sensonic speaker are working after the 5-minute install?

Open the ChromaComfort app on a smartphone or tablet, pair via Bluetooth, then change the LED colour and play audio; the app controls the light and the speaker streams from any music app.

Does the box contain the bath fan motor or only the cover, springs and instructions?

The package contains the replacement cover, two sets of springs and install instructions; the bath fan itself is not included and must be purchased separately if you do not already have a compatible housing.
