A managed 24-port Gigabit switch with 32K MAC table, VLAN, QoS and optional 1+1 power redundancy
The Brocade ICX7450-24 is a stackable managed switch with 24 RJ45 ports running at 10/100/1000Mbps. It supports a 32K MAC address table, VLANs, jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes and static IPv4 or IPv6 routing with ECMP. Remote management uses SNMP, RMON, Telnet, HTTPS, TFTP and CLI.
This model replaces unmanaged switches that lack VLAN, QoS, LACP or port mirroring, and non-stackable managed units that cannot share a single control plane. The jump is worth it when you need Layer 3 static routing, multicast snooping with IGMP or MLD, AES encryption and the ability to add up to three modules or a second hot-plug power supply for 1+1 redundancy.
The 24 primary ports handle Gigabit connections for access-layer deployments, while three module slots and a second power supply bay provide headroom for uplink expansion and failover. Operational draw is 69 Watt. Networks requiring more than 24 copper ports, built-in uplinks beyond auto-uplink, or routing protocols beyond static and multicast will need additional switches or a different platform.

The switch has three module slots available; zero are populated from the factory.
Insert the second hot-plug unit into the empty bay while the first remains live; do not power down the switch during the swap.
Fans are field-replaceable; plan replacement when acoustic noise rises or the chassis health monitor reports a fan fault.
