Mobile 4-inch label kit

This Brother mobile printer kit produces four-inch direct-thermal labels and includes a lithium-ion battery with a charging conductor plate. It targets field-service technicians, delivery drivers and retail staff who need on-demand barcode or receipt printing away from a fixed workstation. Wireless operation is supported across Windows, Android and iOS devices.

Replaces tethered desktop units

The kit replaces stationary label printers that require AC power and a wired data connection. The jump is worth it when workers must print labels at the point of activity — loading docks, aisles or customer doorsteps — and cannot return to a desk between prints. Battery power and Bluetooth connectivity remove the cable constraint entirely.

Check host device and media

Verify that the host computer, tablet or phone runs a supported operating system and can pair over Bluetooth for print jobs. Confirm that four-inch direct-thermal label rolls match the application’s width and length requirements. Ensure a charging routine fits the shift schedule so the battery remains ready for each work period.
