Purpose and audience

The Brother CB1010 is a 15.7 inch printer cabinet designed to convert compatible machines into a floor-standing configuration. It suits offices or workgroups that need better device access and the flexibility to relocate the printer when required. Assembly is required before use.

Deciding specification

The cabinet includes lockable wheels that allow the unit to be moved easily or secured firmly in place. This mobility and stability combination is the single feature that determines whether the CB1010 matches the workspace layout and access needs.

Bundled impact

Brother recommends adding at least one optional paper tray, model LT330CL or LT340CL, to maintain easy paper accessibility when the printer sits on the cabinet. Without an extra tray, paper loading may become less convenient in the raised position.

What does the 15.7 inch measurement refer to on the CB1010 cabinet?

It is the cabinet height that converts a desktop printer into a floor-standing unit, and Brother advises pairing it with an LT330CL or LT340CL paper tray for comfortable paper loading.

The unit ships flat and requires assembly; once built it sits on lockable wheels so you can move it into position and then secure it in place.
