Optional Lower Paper Tray

This optional lower paper tray adds 520 sheets of plain-paper capacity to the Brother HL-L6200DW and HL-L6200DWT printers. It is designed for offices that regularly print large batches and want fewer interruptions to reload paper. The unit sits beneath the printer and feeds from the same media path. Buyers who need multiple paper types or sizes at once will not be served by this single-source tray.

Build Quality and Connectors

The tray measures 6.00 by 8.40 by 14.30 inches and weighs 8.40 lbs, matching the footprint of the compatible printers for a stable stack. It latches mechanically to the printer base with no cables or separate power connection required. The black finish aligns with the printer chassis for a uniform appearance. Installers who expect tool-free thumb screws should verify the mounting method before purchase.

Bundled Accessories and Software

The package includes the tray unit only; no additional 250-sheet cassettes, driver discs or configuration utilities are supplied. Setup is handled entirely through the printer’s existing control panel once the tray is attached. IT administrators who rely on automated deployment scripts will find no dedicated software component in the box.
