Desktop thermal-transfer label printer with automatic cutter, USB connectivity and 180 x 360 dpi resolution for barcodes and text up to 24 mm wide
The Brother PT-P700 is a desktop thermal-transfer printer that connects to a Windows or Mac computer through a USB cable without driver installation. It produces laminated or non-laminated labels up to 24 mm wide at 30 mm per second when powered by the included AC adapter. The built-in auto cutter separates each label automatically.
The supplied AC adapter enables the 30 mm/sec print speed, while battery operation drops output to 20 mm/sec. Compatible TZe cartridges cover standard laminated, flexible ID, extra-strength adhesive, iron-on fabric and acid-free media in widths from 3.5 mm to 24 mm. P-touch Editor software adds database printing, 1-5000 auto-numbering and barcode support including QR Code, PDF417 and GS1-128.
The single USB port ties the printer to one computer at a time and prevents direct network or mobile printing. Windows support stops at version 10 and macOS support ends at 10.10.x, so newer operating systems may require workarounds. Maximum print height is 18 mm on 24 mm tape, and tape length per cartridge is 26.20 ft.

Each cartridge holds 26.20 ft of tape; replacement frequency depends on label length and volume printed.
The printer cuts each label automatically after printing, so sustained throughput is paced by the auto-cutter cycle.
Thermal transfer printing with an auto-cutter runs quietly and generates minimal heat during extended operation.
