A desktop thermal-transfer printer that produces durable, laminated labels for barcode and signage applications
The Brother PTP900C is a desktop thermal transfer printer that produces laminated, monochrome labels. It is built for point-of-sale environments and general barcode labelling tasks where durable, adhesive-backed identification is required.
This unit suits businesses that print laminated labels from a stationary desk and do not require colour output or portable operation. It is not intended for mobile labelling, high-volume industrial throughput or applications that need multi-colour printing.
The printer uses thermal transfer technology to create laminated labels that resist moisture, abrasion and fading. This print method determines whether the consumables and durability match the labelling job.

The PTP900C is a desktop thermal-transfer printer, so it sits on a flat surface near a power outlet and your PC or POS terminal.
Connect the power cable, link the printer to your system via the supplied interface cable, install the Brother driver, then load a TZe tape cassette — skipping the driver install is the common oversight.
The PTP900C uses Brother TZe laminated tape cassettes; replace the cassette when the label roll runs out.
