Direct thermal printer produces up to 110 labels per minute at 300 dpi with two-colour red and black output on DK series media
The Brother QL820NWBC is a desktop direct thermal label printer designed for offices and small businesses that need fast, on-demand labelling. It produces black and red output on DK series labels and tapes without ink or toner. The built-in cutter delivers custom-length labels automatically. A backlit monochrome LCD enables standalone operation when a host device is not available.
The unit connects through Ethernet, Bluetooth or wireless interfaces, allowing it to sit on a network or pair directly with mobile devices. Brother iPrint&Label app support lets users create and print labels from smartphones. Included P-touch Editor software and drivers provide design tools for Windows, Android, iOS and Mac systems. A USB cable is also supplied for direct PC connection.
With 256MB of flash memory the printer stores templates and fonts for repeat jobs. It prints up to 110 standard address labels per minute at 300 dpi resolution. Starter rolls include 100 die-cut DK1201 address labels and a DK2251 continuous red/black tape roll 62mm wide. An optional lithium-ion battery can be added for fully mobile use, though it is not included.
