Mobile direct-thermal printer produces receipts and labels at 6 ips with 203 dpi resolution, 32 MB RAM and Flash, USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth MFi interfaces, IP54 rating and 8.2 ft drop protection
The Brother RJ-2050 is a compact direct-thermal printer built for field service, delivery and retail staff who need to produce receipts or labels on the move. Its rugged chassis meets IP54 dust and moisture resistance and survives 8.20 ft drops onto concrete.
The unit prints up to 6.00 inches per second at 203 dpi across a maximum 54.00 mm width. Rolls up to 40.00 mm diameter and 1.00 m length load via drop-in mechanism; labels and tags require a black mark. Internal memory provides 32 MB RAM and 32 MB Flash with 12 MB available for fonts and templates.
Connectivity covers full-speed USB, IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN and Bluetooth MFi for iOS pairing. Power comes from a 7.2 VDC rechargeable Li-ion battery charged via 15 V AC adapter or 12 VDC vehicle adapter. Operating range spans -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Yes, the RJ-2050 supports Windows 7 via its full-speed USB connection, so you can print receipts or labels directly from that older laptop without needing a wireless setup.
Send a test print from your device; the 203 dpi direct thermal output should appear sharp on the 54 mm wide media, and the printer's LCD will show active connection status.
The RJ-2050 ships with a rechargeable 7.2 VDC Li-ion battery and a 15 V AC adapter for charging, so no separate power accessories are required to start printing.
