Genuine Black Toner Cartridge

The Brother TN229BK is an original toner cartridge manufactured by Brother for use in their colour laser printers and multifunction devices. It supplies black toner only and is rated for approximately 1,500 pages at standard coverage. The cartridge is new and has not been remanufactured or refilled.

Home offices and small teams printing monochrome

This cartridge suits users who produce mainly black-and-white documents on a compatible Brother printer and want the reliability of an OEM supply. It is not intended for high-volume departments that would benefit from a higher-yield cartridge, nor for printers outside the listed Brother HL-L and MFC-L series.

1,500-page standard yield

The decisive specification is the rated yield of 1,500 pages, which determines how often the cartridge must be replaced. Buyers should confirm their printer model appears in the compatibility list before ordering.
