High-yield black toner 2-pack

This twin-pack supplies two genuine Brother high-yield black toner cartridges for compatible monochrome laser printers. It is intended for offices or home workers who print regularly and want fewer cartridge changes. Each unit is manufactured to Brother specifications for consistent output.

Steady output over long runs

The cartridges are engineered to maintain even toner flow and distribution across extended print jobs rather than just the first few pages. This balance reduces streaking and density shifts when the printer runs for prolonged periods. Yield is rated at approximately 2,600 pages per cartridge, though actual count varies with usage patterns.

Replaces standard-yield singles

Users moving from standard-capacity cartridges gain roughly double the page count per unit, cutting replacement frequency. The step up is worthwhile for workloads that exceed a few hundred pages per month. It is not suited for colour printing or for printers outside the listed DCP, HL and MFC model series.

Questions about this item

Does the TN660 cartridge run hot or make noise when the printer runs all day?

The TN660 is a toner cartridge with no moving parts or fan, so it produces no noise or heat of its own; any sound or warmth comes from the printer engine.

Which printer models must I already own for this 2-pack to work?

Compatible models include DCP-L2520DW, DCP-L2540DW, HL-L2300D, HL-L2305W, HL-L2315DW, HL-L2320D, HL-L2340DW, HL-L2360DW, HL-L2380DW, MFC-L2680W, MFC-L2685DW, MFC-L2700DW, MFC-L2705DW, MFC-L2707DW, MFC-L2720DW and MFC-L2740DW.

Will these cartridges work in an older HL-L2300D that I still use?

Yes, the HL-L2300D is listed among the supported models, so the TN660 cartridges will function normally in that printer.
