Laminated label tape for P-touch printers

Brother TZE231M is a 12 mm laminated tape cartridge that prints black characters on a white background. It fits P-touch label makers and provides a durable, easy-to-read label for general identification tasks. The cassette holds 8 metres of tape.

Suited to cable marking.

Users who need water-resistant, wipe-clean labels for indoor organisation will find this tape suitable. It is not for buyers who need coloured backgrounds, wider tape formats or non-laminated paper labels. It also does not suit label makers outside the P-touch range.

12 mm tape width

The cartridge width is the single specification that determines fit. Only P-touch models that accept 12 mm cassettes can use this supply. Verify the printer's accepted tape width before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the 12 mm laminated tape generate heat or noise when the label maker runs all day?

The TZE231M tape is a passive supply; it adds no heat or noise beyond what the P-touch label maker itself produces.

Which label maker do I need to already own for the TZE231M cartridge to work?

Any Brother P-touch label maker that accepts 12 mm TZe laminated cassettes will accept this cartridge.

Can I use the TZE231M cassette in an older P-touch model that only takes 9 mm tape?

No, the cartridge is 12 mm wide and will not fit machines limited to narrower tape.
