What this tape does

Brother TZePR234 is a laminated label tape that prints gold text on a glitter white background. It measures 12 mm wide and 8 m long and is designed for compatible P-touch label makers.

Who should use it and who should not

This tape suits users who need durable, water-resistant labels for indoor or outdoor use. It is not for buyers who require a different text colour, a non-glitter background or a tape width other than 12 mm.

The specification that decides fit

The decisive factor is printer compatibility; the tape works only with the specific P-touch models listed in the product data such as PT-1280, PT-2100, PT-2730 and PT-2430PC.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power does the TZePR234 tape cassette draw when the label maker runs all day?

The tape cassette itself has no electronics and draws no power; only the label maker consumes electricity while printing.

Which label maker model must I already own so the 12 mm TZePR234 cassette fits and prints correctly?

It fits Brother P-touch machines that accept TZe 12 mm cassettes, including the PT-1280, PT-1100, PT-2100, PT-2730, PT-2430PC, PT-2700 and PT-9600 series.

Will gold text on the glitter white laminated tape stay legible on labels I printed years ago with an older P-touch unit?

The laminated tape resists water, oil, chemicals, UV fading and temperature extremes, so older prints remain readable in hot, cold or outdoor conditions.
