This Brute Networks transceiver adds a 1000BASE-T RJ45 port to any SFP slot on a router, switch or server. It delivers 1 Gbps Ethernet over standard copper cable up to 100 metres. The module is coded for full HP compatibility and meets MSA industry standards. It targets network engineers who need copper connectivity without replacing existing fibre infrastructure.

Integration Requirements

The transceiver fits a standard SFP cage and operates from 0 to 70 °C. It requires a host device with an available SFP port that supports 1000BASE-T signalling. No fibre patch cords or LC connectors are needed because the interface is a native RJ45 jack. This frees up fibre ports for long-haul links while extending copper runs to endpoints.
