40GBASE-CSR4 QSFP+ transceiver

This 40 Gbps QSFP+ transceiver is built for 100 percent HPE compatibility and MSA compliance. It targets network engineers who need a cost-effective way to add or replace 40 Gigabit links on HPE switches, routers or servers. The module initialises and performs identically to the OEM JG709A part.

400 metre reach over multi-mode fibre

The optic operates at 850 nm and supports links up to 400 metres on OM3 or OM4 multi-mode fibre with an MTP/MPO connector. Digital optical monitoring is included for real-time link diagnostics. Beyond 400 metres the guaranteed error-free distance is exceeded and a different wavelength or single-mode module would be required.

Commercial temperature rating 0 to 70 Celsius

The transceiver is rated for continuous operation from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius, covering standard data-centre and wiring-closet environments. Deployments in uncontrolled industrial or outdoor settings that exceed this range are not supported by this module.
