Straight-Blade 50 A Receptacle

The Bryant 9550FR is a 5-50R straight-blade receptacle rated for 50 A at 125 V AC. It is a single-gang, two-pole, three-wire device intended for flush mounting in residential or light-commercial wiring projects. The grounded, polarized design accepts matching straight-blade plugs for high-draw 125 V equipment.

No Cover Included

The unit ships without a cover plate, so the installer must supply a compatible single-gang wall plate to complete the installation. Screw-terminal connections allow solid or stranded conductors to be secured directly under the terminal screws. The thermoplastic housing provides heat-resistant and impact-resistant performance in standard indoor environments.

Flush-Mount Thermoplastic Housing

A black thermoplastic body mounts flush into a standard single-gang box using the device’s integral mounting ears.
