USB 3.1 Gen 2 adapter for Type-A hosts
This BUCIER adapter connects USB-C cables, hubs or peripherals to a USB-A port on a laptop or charger. It is intended for users who need to bridge the connector gap without installing drivers. The aluminium shell measures 3.5 cm long, 1.4 cm wide and 0.6 cm high. Plug-and-play operation makes it suitable for quick data transfers or charging tasks.
10 Gbps transfer speed requires USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports
The adapter supports a theoretical 10 Gbps data rate on both sides of the USB-C connector, but only when the host port and the connected device both run USB 3.1 Gen 2. It remains backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports at their native speeds. The supplier notes that actual throughput depends on the host, cable and peripheral used.
Simple insertion, but no Power Delivery support
Installation is a single plug-in step with no software required. The built-in IC chip limits the input voltage to 12 V at 3 A, so the adapter cannot be powered by a PD quick-charge brick. Because the USB-A side lacks Power Delivery, fast-charge protocols are not available through this converter.

Questions about this item
What does the 10Gbps rating mean when I plug this adapter into my laptop?
It is the theoretical maximum transfer rate; real-world speed depends on the host port, the cable and the connected device all supporting USB 3.1 Gen 2.
Which USB standard does the adapter use and what does that limit?
The adapter follows USB 3.1, so it caps at 10Gbps data and cannot deliver Power Delivery fast charging because the USB-A side lacks PD support.
Will the 3.5cm length and 0.6cm height fit beside other ports on a crowded hub?
The compact 3.5cm by 1.4cm by 0.6cm aluminium body is designed to sit flush without blocking adjacent sockets.
