USB C Female to USB Male Adapter
The BUCIER adapter converts a USB 3.0 Type-A port on a laptop or PC into a USB Type-C female port for data transfer. It uses a VL160 smart chipset to support double-sided transfer at up to 5Gbps. The gold-plated USB-C plug ensures full contact efficiency. The cable is not designed for video output or monitor extension.
5Gbps Data Transfer Capacity
The adapter comfortably handles USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 data speeds when connected to a USB 3.0 host port. It runs out of headroom if plugged into a USB 2.0-only port, where speeds drop to the older standard. The host-side USB 3.0 male connector must connect to the source device only. It cannot function when connected to a target peripheral.
USB 3.1 Gen 1 Interface Limits
The interface supports SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5Gbps over the USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard. It does not carry video signals or support alternate modes for display output. Compatibility requires a host with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Newer systems lacking legacy Type-A ports cannot use this adapter.
