8 TB Network Storage Device

This 8 TB network-attached storage unit provides centralised file storage and backup for home offices and small teams. It ships pre-configured with RAID 1 so the two internal drives mirror each other for immediate fault tolerance. A hexa-core processor handles file serving and background tasks without slowing the network. The device is TAA compliant for government and institutional procurement.

Pre-configured RAID 1 and Hexa-core Processor

RAID 1 mirroring protects data against a single drive failure the moment the unit is powered on. The hexa-core processor keeps multiple simultaneous streams responsive during backups or media streaming. Duplex firmware adds a second layer of protection by maintaining redundant system images for uptime. Gigabit Ethernet connects the unit to any standard router or switch.

Time Machine, NovaBACKUP and Cloud Sync

Mac users can point Time Machine at the share for automatic hourly backups without extra software. Five licences of NovaBACKUP Buffalo Edition cover Windows machines for scheduled image or file backups. Built-in connectors sync selected folders to Dropbox, OneDrive or Azure for off-site copies. The free WebAccess service creates a personal cloud for remote file access and sharing from any browser.
