Outdoor fly trap kit

The BugBane BB-FlyTraR2-FlyRib12 kit supplies two reusable hanging traps, four non-toxic dissolvable bait refills and twelve sticky ribbons for catching filth flies around patios, yards and ranch areas. Each trap measures 8.5 by 3.75 inches and is built from thick plastic for repeated use. The bait uses only fish, egg and bran ingredients, making it safe around children and pets while attracting house flies, blow flies, stable flies and other common species.

Suited for outdoor fly control

This bundle suits homeowners and property managers who want a reusable, low-odour system that combines scent and a blue visual lure to draw flies away from living spaces. It is not intended for indoor use, and buyers who need a completely odour-free solution or an instant-kill electric device should consider other approaches. Windy or fully exposed locations may reduce effectiveness, so placement in calmer, shaded spots is recommended.

Bundled bait and ribbons extend use

The four included bait packets let you recharge each trap multiple times without buying refills immediately, while the twelve sticky ribbons provide an additional catching method for areas where hanging a bottle trap is impractical. Together they reduce plastic waste compared with single-use alternatives and keep the system working through a full season of fly activity.

Questions about this item

What do I need on hand before I can activate the 4 non-toxic bait refills?

You only need water to dissolve each bait packet up to the fill line; the traps, ribbons and hanging points are already in the box.

Can I keep using my existing 24 hanging fly ribbons while the 2 reusable bottle traps are running?

Yes, the 12 sticky ribbons supplied with this kit work alongside any other ribbons or window traps you already have; they share no parts or bait.

How will I know the trap is working once I hang it 20 feet from the house?

Flies enter through the top openings, drown in the bait solution and collect visibly inside the clear 8.5 x 3.75 in bottles.
