Vintage Tube Amplifier Head

The Bugera Vintage V55 Infinium is a 55W all-tube guitar amplifier head built for players who want classic warmth on stage or in the studio. Its hand-built design uses three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes to deliver rich, balanced harmonics and natural compression. The two independent channels provide clean and overdrive voices selectable via the included heavy-duty footswitch.

Infinium Tube Life Multiplier Technology

This amplifier features Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology that extends power tube life up to 20 times while monitoring each tube continuously. Defective tubes are displayed for easy replacement without the need for expensive matched sets. The system allows mixing and matching compatible tube types and brands for flexible maintenance.

Class-A Operation and Thermal Design

True Class-A circuitry with a 12AX7 front-end and 6L6 power stage produces sweetly-balanced harmonics and natural tube compression at 55 Watts. The all-tube design generates typical valve amplifier heat during normal use, requiring adequate ventilation around the chassis. Selectable reverb adds depth without additional digital processing overhead.

Questions about this item

How loud and clean will 55 watts of tube power actually be on stage?

The 55-watt rating drives a 2 x 6L6 power stage with true Class-A operation, giving ample headroom for clean tones and natural compression when pushed hard.

What does the Infinium Tube Life Multiplier do for the power tubes?

It monitors each 6L6 continuously, extends their life up to 20 times, lets you mix compatible tube types and brands, and flags a defective tube for quick replacement.

What cabinet impedance should I use with this head?

Use the included heavy-duty foot switch to change channels and engage reverb; speaker outputs are on the rear panel for standard guitar cabinets.
