Two-Conductor Lug for 6 AWG Copper
This Burndy mechanical connector accepts stranded copper wire from 6 AWG up to 350 kcmil and provides two termination points in a single aluminium body. It is designed for commercial electrical installations that require a reliable lug connection on a 1/2 inch stud.
Dual-Hole Pattern with 1.75 Inch Spacing
The lug features two mounting holes of 0.56 inch diameter spaced 1.75 inches apart, fixing the tongue orientation and preventing rotation under vibration. This hole pattern is the critical dimension that determines whether the lug fits the existing busbar or equipment pad.
Rated for 600 Volts at 194 Degrees F
Aluminium construction and a slotted head style allow the connector to operate continuously at up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit while carrying rated current at 600 volts. The 0.31 inch tongue thickness and 2.31 inch width distribute clamping force evenly across both conductors during sustained thermal cycling.

Questions about this item
What does the 350 kcmil maximum copper size mean when I install these lugs?
It sets the upper limit for stranded copper conductors; any wire larger than 350 kcmil will not fit the connector barrel.
How does the 600 V rating limit the circuits I can use these on?
The lugs are rated for a maximum of 600 V, so they are suitable for low-voltage and 600 V class power circuits but not for higher-voltage systems.
What stud size and hole spacing do I need to match for the two-hole mounting?
The lugs require a 1/2 in stud and have two holes spaced 1.75 in apart with a 0.56 in diameter.
