Copper compression lug for 2/0 AWG wire with 5/16 in stud, CSA certified and UL listed to 35 kV
The Burndy YA26LNT516 is a one-hole compression lug built for 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors. It carries a black colour code and die code 13 for correct crimp tool selection. The lug is UL 486A-486B listed and CSA certified for use up to 35 kV. Maximum operating temperature is 194 degrees F.
This lug suits installers who need a straight, standard-barrel connection on a 5/16 in stud. The integrated inspection hole allows visual confirmation of full conductor insertion. It is not intended for multi-hole patterns, angled tongues or aluminium conductors. Buyers who need a different stud size or a two-hole mounting pattern should look elsewhere.
The connector terminates 2/0 AWG copper wire with a standard crimp tool using die code 13. Its 0.62 in tongue width matches common bus-bar and equipment lug spacing. Copper construction ensures compatible thermal expansion with the conductor. No additional hardware beyond the correct crimp die and a 5/16 in mounting bolt is required.

The lug uses die code 13 for its standard barrel, so your crimper must accept that die size to form a proper connection.
Yes, the tongue is drilled for a 5/16 in stud and has a straight angle, so it matches other hardware using that stud diameter.
After crimping, look through the inspection hole; the conductor should be visible and fully seated to confirm a solid termination.
