One-hole compression lug for 3/0 AWG copper wire with 1/2 inch stud and long barrel
The Burndy YAD27M12E12 is a single-stud copper lug built for 3/0 AWG conductors in industrial and automotive electrical systems. It suits installers who need a reliable crimp termination on heavy-gauge cable without insulation or colour coding.
The lug accepts exactly 3/0 AWG wire with a long 0.79 in brazed barrel and a 0.95 in tongue, rated for 600 V and a maximum operating temperature of 302 °F. It provides no headroom for larger conductors or multi-hole mounting patterns.
As a passive copper component with tin-plated contacts, it generates no noise and draws no power; heat rise depends entirely on the current carried through the crimped joint and the quality of the installation.

Yes, the lug is drilled for a 1/2 in stud and accepts 3/0 AWG wire, so it matches that hardware directly.
A proper crimp tool for 3/0 AWG will fully seat the .79 in long brazed barrel; inspect for a uniform indent and no wire strands visible at the barrel ends.
The lug ships bare with a tin-plated copper barrel only; bolts, washers and any insulation must be purchased separately.
