A tin-plated copper compression lug for 250–300 kcmil wire with a 3/4 in stud hole and 600 V rating
The Burndy YAD30M20E34 is a one-hole compression lug rated for 250 kcmil to 300 kcmil copper conductors. It provides a 3/4 in stud connection for power distribution panels and heavy-duty grounding applications. The tin-plated copper barrel accepts a long-barrel crimp for secure terminations.
Installation requires a hydraulic crimp tool and dies matched to the long-barrel 300 kcmil size. The brazed barrel seam resists splitting under high compression force. A common error is using short-barrel dies, which leaves the barrel under-crimped and can cause overheating at the joint.
Confirm the existing cable falls within the 250 kcmil to 300 kcmil range before ordering. The 1.18 in tongue width and 3/4 in bolt hole must match the busbar or lug pad drilling pattern. The lug is rated for 600 V and a maximum operating temperature of 302 Degrees F.

A proper crimp produces a solid, uniform barrel with no visible gaps; the tin-plated copper should show full contact around the conductor and the barrel length of .95 in should be fully engaged.
The package contains the one-hole compression lug only; you will need to supply 250 kcmil to 300 kcmil copper wire and a compatible crimping tool.
Select this version when the mounting point requires a 3/4 in bolt hole; the tongue width is 1.18 in to match that stud pattern.
