What this adapter does

The Burnt Sugar Wireless CarPlay Adapter converts a factory wired CarPlay connection into a wireless link for iPhone models running iOS 10 or later. It plugs into the vehicle's USB Type-A port and uses Bluetooth 5.3 alongside dual-band Wi-Fi to deliver low-latency navigation, audio streaming, Siri control and messaging without cables.

How it fits the car

The ultra-mini dongle measures 1.905 cm by 7.2898 cm by 9.7028 cm so it sits flush in the USB port without protruding into the cabin. It draws power directly from the port, requires no extra wiring or external hardware, and automatically reconnects each time the driver enters one of the 800-plus compatible 2016-plus vehicles that already offer wired CarPlay.

Who should buy it and who should not

iPhone owners with a 2016 or newer car that has factory wired CarPlay will gain a cable-free experience with stable GPS and sound quality. Buyers whose vehicles lack wired CarPlay, or who drive Tesla or BMW models, cannot use this adapter and should look for a different connectivity solution.

Questions about this item

How small is the adapter so it does not block other ports?

The ultra-mini box measures 1.905 cm × 7.2898 cm × 9.7028 cm, so it sits flush in the USB slot without crowding neighbouring connections.

Does the adapter run warm or draw extra power during long drives?

The 2026 chipset is designed for low-latency stability and low power draw, keeping heat and consumption minimal even on all-day trips.

My car must already have which factory feature for this to work?

Your vehicle needs built-in wired Apple CarPlay via a USB-A port; the adapter then converts that connection to wireless for iOS 10+ iPhones.
