Open Fuse Block 30 A 600 V

The Bussmann BMM603-1C is an open fuse block rated for 0 to 30 A and 600 V AC or DC. It accepts midget-class fuses measuring 1 1/2 in by 13/32 in and mounts by bolt-down or DIN rail. Box-lug connectors accept 14 to 2 AWG wire.

Suits single-pole midget-fuse circuits

This block suits panels that need one non-indicating, non-rejection midget fuse up to 30 A. It does not suit applications that require visual blow indication, rejection-style fuse keys, or more than one pole in a single housing.

30 A 600 V midget-fuse rating

The decisive specification is the 30 A, 600 V AC/DC rating combined with the midget fuse form factor; only fuses matching that class and the 1 1/2 in by 13/32 in dimensions will fit and operate safely.

Questions about this item

How do I choose the right fuse for the 30 A, 600 V open fuse block?

Select a midget or UL Class midget fuse rated up to 30 A and 600 V AC/DC, 1 1/2 in long by 13/32 in diameter, from compatible series such as AGU, ATM, ATQ, BAF, BLF, BLN, FLM, FLQ, FNM, FNQ, GGU, HC10S, KLK, KLKD, KLM, KTK, OTM or TRM.

What does the 30 A rating mean when the block is wired in a panel?

The block accepts conductors from 14 to 2 AWG and is rated for continuous loads up to 30 A at 600 V AC/DC when mounted on a bolt-down surface or DIN rail.

How does the box-lug connector limit the installation?

The box-lug connector accepts solid or stranded wire from 14 to 2 AWG, so the conductor size and torque applied to the lug set the practical connection limit.
