Recessed LED Flood Light

The Buyers Products 1492138 is a 3 inch square LED flood light designed for recessed installation. It delivers 1620 lumens of clear light reaching up to 85 metres. The IP67 rating ensures full protection against dust and water ingress. This unit suits trucks, trailers, ATVs and similar outdoor applications.

Stud Mount And Lead

A versatile stud mount is integrated into the housing for secure attachment. The fixture includes a 36 inch lead wire for direct electrical connection. No separate mounting brackets or wiring harnesses are supplied in the package. The recessed design allows the light to sit flush with the mounting surface.

Simple Recess Installation

Installation requires cutting a suitable recess opening and securing the stud mount. The 36 inch lead simplifies routing to the vehicle electrical system. IP67 sealing is maintained only when the gasket seats correctly against a flat surface. Improper hole size or uneven mounting surfaces are the most common causes of leaks.

Questions about this item

How often will the LED module in the 1492138 need replacing?

The integrated LED is rated for long service life and the unit carries a five-year warranty, so no scheduled module replacement is expected within that period.

What limits continuous output on the 1492138 during extended use?

Thermal management of the sealed IP67 housing determines sustained output; the light maintains 1620 lumens until the housing reaches its thermal equilibrium.

How much heat and noise does the 1492138 produce when running all day?

The solid-state LED runs silently; the IP67-rated aluminium housing dissipates heat passively so surface temperature stays safe to touch during continuous operation.
