Product identity

The Buyers Products Company 3008210 is a black mesh tarp measuring 7 by 15 feet with a 10 mil PVC-coated polyester construction. It is built for standard-duty coverage where airflow through the material is required.

Who this suits

Buyers needing a UV-resistant tarp with brass grommets spaced 24 inches apart for secure tie-down points will find it suitable. Those who require a fully waterproof barrier, insulated protection, high-visibility colours or a breathable fabric should look at other options.

Sustained load behaviour

Double-stitched, web-reinforced seams and 12 oz per square yard fabric weight help the tarp resist tearing under continuous wind flap and sun exposure. The 3-inch inside-diameter grommets distribute tension evenly during prolonged outdoor use.

Questions about this item

What size grommets and spacing does the 3008210 tarp have for tie-downs?

Brass grommets with a 3 in inside diameter are spaced every 24 in along the edges for secure tie-down points.

Will the 10 mil PVC coated polyester hold up when used with an older steel truck bed?

The 12 oz/sq yd fabric is standard duty and UV resistant, and the brass grommets resist corrosion against metal contact.

How can I confirm the 3008210 tarp is properly secured after installation?

Check that all grommets are fastened at 24 in intervals and the double-stitched, web-reinforced seams show no strain.
