Secure Gas Can Rack

The LT32 locking gas container rack mounts on open or enclosed landscape trailers and holds a single five-gallon can. A steel pin locks the can in place while a durable nylon strap keeps it steady when the trailer is moving. Black powder-coated steel resists rust for long outdoor life. It is built for landscapers and contractors who transport fuel securely.

Locking Pin Security

A steel pin passes through the rack to lock the gas can and prevent theft or accidental release. This single locking mechanism is the feature that decides whether the rack meets a job-site security requirement. No electronic or keyed lock is included. Buyers needing a keyed or combination lock should look elsewhere.

Bolt-On Installation

The rack bolts to the trailer frame using the mounting holes in the powder-coated steel base. Hardware is not supplied so the installer must provide bolts, washers and nuts that match the trailer material. The nylon strap threads through the integrated buckle and tightens by hand. Misaligned holes or missing hardware are the usual installation delays.

Questions about this item

How does the locking pin keep a 5 gal can secure once the rack is bolted to a trailer?

A steel pin locks the can into the rack and a durable nylon strap holds it tight while the trailer moves, so the container cannot shift or be removed without the key.

What mounting options does the rack provide for open versus enclosed trailers?

The versatile design bolts to either open or enclosed trailer frames, giving the same secure fit on both styles without extra brackets.

How much space does the rack need on the trailer bed or wall?

The unit is built to hold one 5 gal gas can, so plan for the can’s footprint plus a few centimetres of clearance for the locking pin and strap.
