Fluid-power sump strainer

The Buyers Products SW1250753 installs through a tank wall to filter fluid-power, lubrication and fuel systems. A cleanable stainless-steel 100 mesh wire cloth traps contaminants while cast-iron bushing fittings handle the plumbing connection. It is built for industrial maintenance teams who need reliable in-line filtration.

100 mesh filtration rating

The single specification that determines fit is the 100 mesh wire cloth, which sets the particle size the strainer will capture. If the system requires a finer or coarser screen this unit will not meet the spec and a different mesh must be sourced. No other filtration grade is offered for this model.

Cleanable screen and cast-iron fittings

The stainless-steel screen can be removed, washed and reinstalled, extending service intervals and reducing consumable cost. Cast-iron bushings provide durable thread engagement in the tank wall without the need for separate adapter fittings. No mounting hardware or sealant is included in the package.

How does the thru-wall mounting affect installation and port compatibility?

The strainer installs through a reservoir wall with cast iron bushing fittings that accept the specified port sizes for a secure, leak-resistant seal.

What space and mounting provisions are needed to fit this strainer?

A thru-wall opening matching the bushing dimensions is required, and the cast iron fittings provide rigid mounting points for the strainer body.
