Gigabit Ethernet Splitter 1 in 2 Out
This Gigabit Ethernet splitter connects two devices to a single Ethernet port using dual Type-C outputs. It is designed for thin-and-light notebooks that lack built-in RJ45 sockets. The adapter reduces cable swapping and solves limited port availability in home, office or travel setups. It works with a wide range of network equipment including routers, switches and set-top boxes.
Upgrade from single-port dongles
Replacing a single Type-C to Ethernet dongle with this splitter lets two laptops share one wired line simultaneously. The jump is worth it when you regularly connect two devices in a meeting room, hotel desk or compact workstation. It removes the need to carry multiple adapters or repeatedly unplug cables. Bandwidth is shared, so peak throughput drops when both ports are active.
Practical limits of shared 1000Mbps
The two Type-C ports share a total throughput of 1000Mbps, with each port capable of up to 1000Mbps when used alone. Heavy simultaneous transfers on both devices will reduce per-port speed. No crosstalk occurs between the two signal paths. The splitter does not negotiate speeds beyond the Gigabit Ethernet standard.
