Braided USB-C and Micro USB cable bundle

This bundle includes one USB-C cable and one Micro USB cable, each measuring 15 cm. Both feature a braided cotton jacket and aluminium connector housings for durability. They are intended for charging phones, tablets and similar devices from power banks or USB ports. The short length keeps bags and pockets tidy.

3 A charging with 480 Mbps data

Each cable supports up to 3 A current and includes a 56 kΩ resistor to protect connected equipment. Data transfer runs at USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps. The supplier notes that hard drives are not recommended with these cables.

Fits tight spaces behind TVs and in cars

The 15 cm length suits TV-stick power connections and Android Auto setups where a short reach is needed. For TV USB ports the supplier advises using a 5 V/1 A or USB 3.0 port. Buyers who need longer cables for desk charging or drive enclosures should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the USB C cable with the 56K ohm resistor and what step is often missed?

Plug the USB A end into a 5V/1A or USB 3.0 port and the USB C end into the device; the step often missed is confirming the port supplies 5V/1A before connecting.

What maintenance or replacement will the braided 15cm cable with aluminum case need later?

Inspect the cotton jacket and connectors for fraying or bent pins; replace the cable if the braid separates or the 56K ohm resistor protection fails.

What limit appears first on the 480Mbps data link under sustained use?

The USB 2.0 480Mbps ceiling is reached before any thermal or power limit during continuous transfers.
