1 ft left-angle USB 3.0 extender

The CableCreation USB 3.0 left-angle extension cable adds 1 ft of reach with a 90-degree male connector that points sideways. It suits VR headsets, consoles, keyboards and other USB-A peripherals where a straight plug would foul a wall, TV bezel or all-in-one chassis. The short length keeps signal quality high while solving tight-space routing.

Braided nylon with aluminium alloy shell

A nylon-braided jacket and aluminium alloy connector housings resist daily bending and plug cycles. The left-angle male plug inserts flush against the host port so cables run parallel to the device instead of protruding. Backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 gear means older mice, printers and drives work without drivers on any standard USB-A socket.

Replaces straight USB 3.0 cables in confined spots

This extender replaces a standard straight cable when clearance behind a monitor, console or PC is too small for a conventional plug bend. The jump is worth it whenever the host port faces a wall or crowded panel and a straight connector would be damaged or block adjacent ports. Buyers who need more than 1 ft of reach or a right-angle orientation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What speed does the USB 3.0 interface actually reach with this cable?

The USB 3.0 extension supports up to 5 Gbps, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0, while remaining backward compatible with 2.0 devices.

How much clearance does the 90-degree left-angle connector need behind a TV or all-in-one PC?

The left-angle USB A male plug bends 90 degrees to fit tight rear ports, so measure the space beside the port to confirm the cable exits in the correct direction.

Is any driver required to use this extension with a VR headset or console?

No driver is needed; the braided nylon cable with aluminium alloy housing is plug-and-play on universal systems for Oculus Rift, PlayStation, Xbox and other USB peripherals.
