Cable purpose and audience

This three‑metre USB‑A to USB‑C cable connects legacy USB‑A chargers, hubs or computers to modern USB‑C devices such as iPad Pro, MacBook or Android phones. It is intended for users who need both charging and data sync at USB 2.0 speeds.

Braided jacket and 56 kΩ resistor

The cotton‑braided sheath resists tangling and is rated for over 10000 bend cycles. A built‑in 56 kΩ pull‑up resistor enables safe charging up to 3 A and 60 W when the power source supports USB Power Delivery or Quick Charge.

Compatibility and limits to verify

Confirm that your charger and the target device both support the desired fast‑charge protocol; the cable cannot carry 4K video and will not work with Lightning‑only iPhones. Ensure the 3 m length suits your workspace before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the braided jacket or connectors need replacing after daily bending?

The cable is rated for over 10000 bending cycles and uses a cotton braided jacket with gold-plated aluminium alloy shells for durability.

What caps the transfer rate when moving large files continuously?

Data transfer is limited to USB 2.0 speeds of 480Mbps, so sustained copies will top out at that rate.

How warm does the cable get when delivering 60W for hours?

Gold-plated aluminium alloy shells improve heat dissipation during 20V 3A 60W Power Delivery charging sessions.
