Connect legacy Mini-B devices
This USB-C to Mini-B cable links a computer with a Type-C port to older peripherals that still use the Mini B connector. It handles both data syncing and charging for equipment such as GoPro Hero 3+ cameras, PS3 controllers, MP3 players and digital cameras. The 3.3FT length gives enough reach for desk setups without excess slack.
Passive cable thermals
As a passive copper cable it produces no heat and draws no power of its own beyond the host port. Gold-plated contacts and foil-plus-braid shielding keep resistance low, so the link stays stable at the rated 480 Mbps without signal degradation. No active electronics means silent operation and no firmware concerns.
Simple Type-C integration
Plug the USB-C end into any laptop or desktop port that supports USB 2.0 or Thunderbolt 3 and the Mini-B end into the legacy device. No drivers or external power are required, freeing up a standard USB-A port on the host for other accessories. The cable is limited to USB 2.0 speeds, so it will not accelerate transfers on faster interfaces.

Questions about this item
How do I plug this cable in, and what is the common mistake?
Connect the USB-C end to the host and the Mini-B end to the device; the error is reversing them because the Mini-B connector is not reversible.
What part of this cable wears out first with daily use?
The Mini-B plug sees the most insertions and its smaller spring contacts typically loosen before the USB-C end.
What speed ceiling appears first during a long file transfer?
The USB 2.0 interface caps sustained throughput at 480 Mbps regardless of the host port.
