Bi-Directional DisplayPort Switch
The CableDeconn A0209 is a DisplayPort 1.4 switch that operates in two modes. It connects three source devices to one display or one source to three displays. Only one display is active at a time and switching is done with a physical button on the unit. It requires USB power to function.
32.4 Gbps Bandwidth Limit
The switch supports a maximum data rate of 32.4 Gbps under the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. This bandwidth enables 8K resolution at 30 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, and 1080p at 240 Hz. Cables used on both the input and output sides must be DisplayPort 1.4 rated to achieve these speeds.
USB Power and Cable Length
A USB-C to USB-C cable is included to supply power to the switch; the display will not show an image without it. The total combined length of all connected DisplayPort cables must not exceed three metres, otherwise signal shielding may occur. No software or drivers are required.
