USB-C PD cable for 60 W charging
This one-metre CableMAX cable carries USB Power Delivery from a charger to any USB-C laptop, console or phone. It handles the 60 W profiles listed in the source power data objects and uses a reversible Type-C connector on both ends.
Data-rate ceiling at USB 3.1 Gen 2
The cable is compliant with USB 3.1 Gen 1 at 5 Gbps and Gen 2 at 10 Gbps, so bulk transfers will not exceed the Gen 2 limit. Gen 2 operation also requires a host and device that both support the higher speed tier.
60 W power ceiling decides fit
Maximum delivery is 60 W through the supported PDOs of 20 V/3 A, 14.5 V/2 A, 12 V/3 A and 5 V/3 A. Devices needing more than 60 W or a PDO not listed here will not charge at full speed with this cable.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 1 m or 3 ft length for my setup?
Both figures describe the same cable; 1 m equals roughly 3 ft, so there is only one length option to pick.
What does the 60 W rating deliver when I plug this into my laptop?
The cable can carry up to 60 W using USB Power Delivery profiles of 20 V at 3 A, 14.5 V at 2 A, 12 V at 3 A or 5 V at 3 A, limited to a maximum of 3 A current.
Does USB 3.1 Gen 2 give me the full 10 Gbps in practice?
The cable is built to the USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard, so it supports up to 10 Gbps data transfer; actual speed depends on the host and device capabilities.
