One-metre USB-C 3.1 cable for data and power

This one-metre cable links two USB-C devices with a 10 Gbps data path and up to 60 W of power delivery. It suits anyone who wants a single cord for charging a laptop, moving large files or driving an external display. The 34 AWG construction keeps the cable light enough for daily carry.

10 Gbps bandwidth and 60 W charging headroom

At 10 Gbps the link moves high-resolution photos, 3D assets or HD video clips without bottlenecking typical creative workflows. The 60 W power ceiling covers most ultraportables and tablets, but it will not satisfy larger laptops that demand higher wattage. Buyers who need more charging power or faster data rates should look elsewhere.

Black 34 AWG cable with dual Type-C plugs

The black jacket and 34 AWG gauge make the cable flexible and easy to coil in a bag. Both ends carry USB-C male connectors that support DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode for 4K video and four-channel audio with microphone pass-through. No extra adapters are required for standard USB-C ports.

Questions about this item

Will the 28848 cable work with my older USB 3.0 ports and still charge at 60W?

The cable uses USB 3.1 connectors and will fall back to USB 3.0 speeds on older ports; 60W power delivery requires a host and device that both support USB Power Delivery.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 10Gbps and 4K video after I plug it in?

Check the operating system connection speed — it should show 10Gbps — and verify the external display runs at 4K resolution with DisplayPort Alt Mode active.

Does the 1m 28848 come with any adapters or do I need to buy a separate power brick for 60W charging?

The box contains only the USB-C to USB-C cable; a 60W-capable USB-C power adapter must be purchased separately if your charger does not already supply 60W.
